...oh, do not forget The Chateau...

It is sitting just there, on a hill. It was always something to do, to go there, any time, any season,  regardless of the opening hours, or weather, for the whole family or just myself, the WALK is always there. See, every village in the Czech Republic has a castle or at least ruins of one. They are treasured and visited often. This one is mine. Rajec-Jestrebi is a Classicist Chateau of the French type with luxuriously furnished interiors (large collection of Biedremeier furnishings) of the princely Salm family. The estate parks are beautiful and open to the public year round. Pleasure to visit anytime. Trust me.
