...call that a sunday

Here is my list:
changed bed sheets and cover, freshly washed and crispy. Love that smell. Moved onto more laundry, five loads, altogether.
Studio door... removed rotten screen, replaced rotten door frame, painted the door frame, and the door. Caulked couple of windows, whole mudroom roof, (see ya leaks!),  and the above mentioned door frame.
Made lunch, looked at the magazine, went for a walk, painted second coat, installed new screen/storm door, put all the laundry away, made dinner and mopped shit in the basement (clogged sewer pipe). Ate doughnut.
Are you still talking about those taxes?
...ok, Ok! Monday.

...all I can talk about...

...is my new CAMERA. I choose Sony Cyber shot tx20. Having the seven years older model, made my choice easier, also being frugal, used up all my Airmiles, in acquisition of a device. I am still learning. I feel like an old lady that got this bizarre futuristic toy in her hand. Beside its touch screen it is drop-able, waterproof up to 16 feet, dust proof, 16 megapixel, and  it takes video? When I was in school we used dark room, mixed our own film and photograph developing liquids and took a great pleasure in ironing finished prints. However I do not miss lugging around the heavy camera bag and running out of film or out of light.
I am a firm believer that the BEST camera is the one you have on you.

Little things...

while replacing all those sold photographs from last weekend, I got this one blown up too. My grandmas bike, in her hallway, taken last year. Made me happy to see it up on the wall.

Tile wall

Finished!
Why is that, tho, the ventilation hood, that I have installed myself in the first place, would not go back up? The way it came down? Two significant holes had to be open in the ceiling to fit the chimney back. Still bit of a plaster touch up to be done, but that is next weeks project. I got beads to make!

Thank you, Toronto!

We did it. We made it, leaving home at 5:08 am Friday mornin, setting up, and sticking it out through out the temperatures that felt like 45C all day long. The weekend went well, the show was great!
Thank you everyone for such an amazing support and encouragement! Couple of paperweights found new homes, dragon cane and oodles of beads and jewelry.
I even sold four of my display photographs.
 Thank you!

Sand that is worth its weight in gold.

Well, dear concrete Toronto Square, how am I suppose to tie tent down, where is no soft soil to hammer peg in? And I do not want to use gallons of orange juice as weights, that just looks silly. I got me some sand!
Sand bag that is. Arrived yesterday, just in time, already filled up and ready to serve! Bring it on!
