 I have a distant memory of a beehive on my grand aunts property, that we have visited when I was about ten. I also remember being petrified of bees than. I do love honey tho.This winter I have been reading a big fat book about beekeeping, sourcing out tools and equipment, and finally taken very cool class today. I think I can actually do this! Next spring I will be a beekeeper! For anyone interested here is the info.

Canada has only two seasons. Really.

 Getting ready for winter and winter. So here we are trying to finish our new fire wood storage area. Just across the driveway. No more walking through the entire garden to get few logs, up to my hips in snow, thank you very much.
